The North Coast Soaring Association proudly presents the 8th annual
North Coast Glider Games 2020 edition.
April 30, May 1, 2, and 3, 2020
With the CoVid 19 crisis happening, our social distancing and long distance friends has us trying to make the best of it. Winds were light on day one and rain didn’t help but on we go!
Thursday:
Travel day – come one, come all (we visit the slope sites and test the winds depending on the weather and join for food and beverages after sundown)
(See event locations below.)
Friday:
The event begins…
11:30a We travel to the slopes (Check it out, no fog this year! Way to go Mike!)
Proper social distancing observed.
The indoor fly is going to be at a new location this year. It’s a little farther but it will be worth the trip!
7:00p Pizza Party & Indoor Fun Fly at One Smart Dog Facility.
271 W Greenwich Rd, Seville, OH 44273
Saturday:
The event continues.
Open, Glider Games, Fun Fly – 11:00a
Winds were light so off to Lodi Field for power and winch. Hmm that sounds like a great name for a micro-brew!
7:30p Tinkers Creek was closed to the public due to Corona Virus so our evening get together was canceled.
Sunday:
Best regards,

Excellent! Great schedule. I know you’re going to have a fun time if you get to participate. Wish I could be there for the duration but hope to attend some of the events.
Had a GREAT time participating on Friday. Excellent sloping at City View and a blast indoors at Enterprise. Thanks to all the organizers, and especially Mike Gantner, for all the efforts! If you haven’t been to City View, or the North Coast, for some sloping, you’re missing out!
What a special weekend. 4 Days of great wind at 3 different locations (plus the indoor stuff of course). Thanks to all that made this happen. It was my first event but I guarantee it will not be my last. Whew what fun. It was nice to meet some new people and get tips on how to fly better. Great planes, great days and great company. you could ask for more.
Thanks again to all involved.
Jeff
