SLOPESLAYER CHILI,  no wind at the slope, make some of your own…

Ingredients:

1 pound of the best ground beef you can find

1 chopped onion, or a half if it’s a big one

1/2 a red pepper chopped

3 cloves minced garlic

16 oz. can of diced tomatoes

(2) 8 oz. can of tomato paste

15 oz. can red kidney beans, do not drain

(2) 15 oz. can black beans, do not drain

15 oz. can chick peas, drain

3 teaspoons of chili powder

½ teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of dried crushed basil

¼ teaspoon of black pepper

½ – 1 1/2 teaspoons of hot sauce, or not and add latter

2 Tablespoons of molasses

4 Tablespoons of brown sugar

In a skillet cook ground beef, onion, and garlic till browned, drain excess fat. Combine all ingredients in a crock pot, cook on high for 45-60 minutes, start eating….in bowls, over rice or over egg noodles.

SLOPER NO BAKE CHEESECAKE, very fast and very tasty

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/8 cup brown sugar

Soaring Strawberry Smoothie

In the blender: one serving….

(6) frozen strawberries

(4) ice cubes

6-8 oz of unsweetened (plain) soy milk, add until mix runs smooth

Warning: mixture may induce ice-cream headaches when consumed, also very tasty and healthy. Substitute a meal with it.

Half-pipe Hummus

Ingredients:

· 2 garlic cloves, mashed and sliced coarsely

· 1/8 – 1/4 cup chopped onion

1 15-oz cans of garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained, save liquid to add back in.

· 1/3 cup of sunflower seeds, or pumpkin, or crushed walnuts

· 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice

· 1/3 cup olive oil, or sesame seed oil (more cost though)

· 1/4 teaspoon of paprika and maybe some jalapeno/cayenne pepper if you would like it hotter

· 1/8 teaspoon cumin

· 1 teaspoon peanut butter (unsweetened)

Dip: corn chips, unbleached whole grain tortillas or vegetables. I’ve made it with black bean and kidney beans too.

METHOD: In a food processor/blender, combine everything and add in 1/3 -1/2 of the liquid from the beans, process until smooth.
